A fast and agile SUV, developed and perfected in Great Britain. The most powerful in the world within its category.
An optimized version of the model launched two years ago. Transformed sports driving mode to make the vehicle more dynamic and active: the Bentley Bentayga Speed, the latest release from the company based in Crewe, characterized on the outside by dark-coloured anterior optic groups, side skirts matching the bodywork, posterior spoiler, dark grids on the fenders and radiator. This is where the characteristic Speed emblem has been added. The engine is an optimized 635 CV version of the W12, 6-litre twin-turbo, maximum speed 306 km/h – the “normal” version reached 301 – with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. It has an 8-speed automatic transmission and the active suspensions have been further tightened for greater driving comfort.
Of all the machines there are, my favourite is the automobile.
Four-wheel drive with an electronic differential blocking system. Four Drive Dynamic modalities available: Comfort, Bentley and Sport and an additional Custom modality to define a personalized driving set-up to satisfy the needs of each individual owner.
There is also the Bentley Dynamic Ride, the first technology in the world for active roll control that uses a top quality, 48V electronic system which counterbalances the lateral forces that cause rolling on bends, thus ensuring maximum tyre grip. This is coupled with an innovative braking system with larger and more powerful carbon-ceramic discs than have ever been fitted onto a Bentley before. The interior upholstery, in Alcantara instead of the traditional leather, the utmost of British style for this category, hand-fitted.
A screen can be fitted into the back compartment. Elegant decorative swooshes are featured around the door and handles, on the edge of the seat and seatback padding and on the lower console and there is new stitching to contrast with the diamond-shaped quilting. The carbon dashboard is embellished with a metal Speed emblem on the passenger side, while a footboard, illuminated with the word Speed, welcomes passengers into the compartment. There are a variety of different customizations, including: exclusive 22” hubcaps available in three finishings; front seats with 22 settings and massage functions; dashboard panels in carbon fibre; Bentley RSE system for entertainment in the posterior compartment and lighting effects.
