MEDITERRANEAN JEWELS

Turquoise, the prince of de GRISOGONO high jewellery summer creations .

A constant source of inspiration for de GRISOGONO is love for the sea and the Mediterranean in particular, whose colours, hues and contrasts have marked its identity since the beginning of time. In everlasting renewal, the sea offers the turquoise blue of the depths and emerald reflections in an infinite palette that the Geneva-based company materializes in its dream creations.
This summer de GRISOGONO pays homage to its roots by presenting exclusive Haute Joaillerie creations containing turquoise, sometimes combining it with warm shades of amethyst and pink sapphire to evoke the richness and voluptuousness of the Mediterranean flora, and other times accompanying it with the intensity of emeralds and blue sapphires to recall the magnificence of the sea.

Maritime Opulence

This opulent and sensual necklace made up of 11 cabochon-cut turquoises, is a spectacular creation. Each of the natural stones was accurately selected for size and colour depth. Drawing inspiration from the beauty of Mediterranean colours, de GRISOGONO artists have set each turquoise stone within an amethyst and pink sapphire fan reminiscent of the famous Ventaglio collection. The necklace is covered with a sublime and graceful pavè of brilliant-cut diamonds to elegantly enhance the splendour of the coloured stones.

Aquatic Fan

An ideal accompaniment to a turquoise necklace, this ring resumes the emblematic pattern of de GRISOGONO’s Ventaglio collection in a unique composition. With an extraordinary, cabochon-cut turquoise in the centre, the wings of the fan that unfold from both sides of the gem are encrusted with diamonds, pink sapphires and brilliant-cut amethysts. Reserving a private luxury to the wearer, the inner side of the ring is totally covered in amethysts. What better companion at a summer cocktail on the seashore?

Making Waves

Evoking the gracefulness of the waves, the beauty of these earrings is enhanced by magnificent turquoise pendants. Sapphires and emeralds drop towards the shoulders and, with a twisting movement, then climb towards the ear, unusually reminiscent of the characteristic, interwoven de GRISOGONO styles. Although undeniably a sumptuous creation, these earrings transmit a feeling of lightness and fluidity due to their titanium structure and nothing is more able to enhance a beautiful face delicately kissed by the Mediterranean sun… (Nathalie Anne Dodd)
