Not just an expression of the best in luxury but also a super yacht with features that make it unique.

Over 33 metres long, the Riva 110 Dolcevita motoryacht is the latest and largest model of this fibreglass line. The project was devised by Mauro Micheli – together with Sergio Beretta, founder of Officina Italiana Design, the Studio that has designed all of the most recent Riva yachts – who has redefined the very concept of a boat built for an international clientele and transformed it into a nautical work of art. A design object with an aggressive and streamlined profile, able to offer a sense of perfection and completeness. Further enhanced by the ample glass surfaces that emphasize the broadsides. This play on empty and full has generated a sleek and, at the same time, elegant look, that cleverly hides the true dimensions of the boat, making for a pleasant discovery when climbing aboard.

«What characterizes the internal fittings of this yacht» – says Mauro Micheli – «is the extensive use of wood, a tradition for Riva.

This time the decision fell on rosewood, a bright red essence that we softened by using contrasting leather and details in shades of light grey, together with steel, which is our leitmotiv for both interiors and exteriors».

Large windows and portholes along both broadsides interrupt the overall concept that gives an idea of custody and protection. With its three bridges, and a pilot house, the boat is a flybridge of considerable size that provides optimal privacy when moored.

Aft is a long bar counter facing the dinette as well as an area on deck that can be fitted with a Jacuzzi surrounded by deckchairs next to the large C-shaped sofa in the front. The stern features an extremely large sundeck. The cockpit in the main bridge leads to an immense living and dining room with a large floor-to-ceiling window where the natural light from outside becomes an essential component. The master suite is accessed from the bow and is an extremely private, 35m² room with generous-sized ensuite facilities. Below deck, the central area of the bridge is divided symmetrically into four double cabins with bathroom, while the bow area is entirely given over to the crew quarters with cabins and kitchen. A yacht, therefore, for sailing in the name of pleasure and relaxation in elegant surroundings, with “soft” speeds. According to the figures released by the builders, the Dolce Vita, powered by two, 2,600 horsepower MTUs, can reach a maximum speed of 26 knots and has a cruise system that touches on 23 knots (Fabio Schiavo)
